Council members present were: Harold Schmidt, John Madson, Digger Phelps, Craig Jans and Rocky Kolar. Others present were: Alan Wahl Harold Schmidt presented the meeting. Mtion by Phelps and sec- onded by Kolar to approve the minutes from November 3, 2003 council meeting. All voted in favor. Motion carried. Police Chief Alan Wahl pre- sented the police report, which was reviewed and approved by the council. All voted in favor. Motion carried. The council discussed GASB 34 and decided to call Abdo Eick & Meyers and see if they would be willing to attend a council meeting and talk to the council about GASB 34. Motion by Madson andsee- onded by Kolar to approve the contract for auditing services with ABDO, EICK & MEY- ERS for 2003 audit. All voted in favor. Motion carried. Motion by Madson and sec- onded by Phelps to approve the final levy and budget for 2004. All votecl in favor. Motion car- ried. A Township has questioned the city about the charges for the ambulance service. It is cur- rently $45 per section per year. In other area towns, some charge per capita in a section so there is a difference in ricing. Harold will talk with Dennis Jutting to see if changes need to be made. The city received informa- tion from the DNR about a Trail Grant. Harold suggested to have Rachel call Southwest Regional Development and see if they have any grants avail- able to Park and Pool. Motion by Madson and sec- onded by Jans to approve the bills totaling $145,253.33. All voted in favor. Motion carried. Motion by Kolar and second- ed by Jans to adjourn the meet- ing.
