On Friday, February 20th, the Walnut Grove ele- mentary students and Westbrook-Walnut Grove Middle School students jumped all over heart dis- ease and stroke bv partici- pating in Jump Rope For Heart. It was the event's 25th anniversary. The students at W%VG raised $4,391.86 for the American Heart Association. Funds raised for Jump Rope For Heart help fight heart disease and stroke, the nations No. 1 and No. 3 killers. "This years' event was once again a huge success," said Joan Zieske, Jump Rope For Heart coordinator. "'We're very proud of all the jumpers and we had a lot of fun."
