Council members present were: Harold Schmidt, John Madson, Digger Phelps, Craig Jans and Rocky Kolar. Others present were: Alan Huset, Tim Jackels, Tina Burns and Alan Wahl. Harold Schmidt presented the meeting. Motion by Kolar and sec- onded by Madson to approve the minutes from the February 2, 2004 council meeting. All voted in favor. Motion carried. Police Chief Alan Wahl pre- sented the police report, which was reviewed and approved by the council. All voted in favor. Motion carried. Mayor Harold Schmidt opened the Sealed Bid pertain- ing to the property for sale located on lots 7 & 8, Block 14. Motion by Phelps and sec- onded by Jans to accept the bid by Alan Huset for $500.00. All voted in favor. Motion carried. The Council discussed David Van Loh's contract for Commercial Assessor which will be up on April 1st, 2004. The council tabled it until April 5th when David can be present. Motion by Jans and second- ed by Madson to accept the Resolution for Alan Wahl's PERA in the Police and Fire Plan. 5 Aye's and 0 Nay. All voted in favor. Motion carried. The City Wide Clean Up has been scheduled for May 1st thru May 15th. The council and the police will inspect properties and citations will be issued for non-compliance. Branch Pickup is scheduled for Wednesday April 21st. Branch Pickup will continue every third Wednesday of the month through October. Other business discussed, Harold Schmidt told the coun- cil that the City snow blower has been sold for $12,500,00. Motion by Phelps and sec- onded by Kolar to approve the bills totaling $59,222.88. All voted in favor. Motion carried. Motion by Madson and sec- onded by Kolar to adjourn the meeting.
