Interestingly, other people can have a more accurate view of us than we do. Our self-image is partly comprised of how we see ourselves reflected in the eyes of others. People are mostly kind and decent, but may fall into incivility when they have to deal with particular people, problems or situations. Many of us may often fail to tre st others with kindness and consideration in the simple everyday activities such as driving, shopping or running errands. In extreme cases, people may so dislike having to deal with the Motor Vehicle Bureau or the IRS for example that they are resigned to mistreating the employees who work there" \\; / W Surely we should take a lesson from Jesus, who treated even tv( collectors-who were more despised in Jesus' day than our own - with kindness and respect.Everyday Incivilities And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
