Eichner Memorial services for Donnabelle M. Eichner were held Saturday, May 15, 2004 at Grace Lutheran Church, Westbrook, with the Rev. Roy Williams officiating. Interment was held at the Westbrook Cemetery. Donnabelle, age 79, of Westbrook, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at the Westbrook Health Care Center. Donnabelle Mac Eichner, daugh- ter of Henry and Linda (Monkemier) Grave, was born on May 22, 1924 in Dale Township of Lyon County near Ashton, IA, In 1941, Donnabelle moved with her parents to a farm place north of Dovray, MN. Donnabelle was united in marriage to Lloyd Eichner on December 7, 1943 in the Grace Lutheran Church parson- age in Westbrook. The couple farmed the home place in Rosehill Township in Cottonwood County, MN, where their three children were born. In 1984, they moved into Westbrook. Donnabelle was baptized and confirmed and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Westbrook. She was also a member of the Westbrook Senior Center. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, needlework, playing cards and fishing. She is survived by her daughter Carol and her husband James Sandbo of Young America, MN; sons, Dwayne and wife Denise Eichner of Currie, MN and Michael and wife Marjorie Eichner of Windom, MN; 7 grandchildren, Leah Sandbo, Ji Sandbo, MicheUe and husband Shane Parker, Scott and wife Majalisa Eichner, Derek Eichner, Loni Eichner and Travis Eichner; 4 great grandchildren, Olivia Marie Roberts, Lauren Lucille Steffi, Jaden Eve Roberts, and Austin Scott Parker; brothers, Earl Grave, rrgil Grave and Richard Grave. Highway 59 reconstruc- tion project starts The State Highway 59 reconstruction project from Worthington to Fulda began on Monday, May 17, accord- ing to Ken Janovsky, project supervisor from the MN Department of Transportation. Traffic will be detoured to State Hwy. 62, Cottonwood County Road 19, Nobles County Road 1 and State Highway 60 until September. Improvements include replacement of deteriorated pavement, new shoulders and a smoother surface, and turn lanes and wider shoul- ders in the Fulda area. The public will still be able to access businesses along Hwy. 59 near Fulda and Worthington using the closest crossroad. Extreme caution should be taken when driving near a work zone. Organist was Tasha Nelson, soloist was Becky Ness, and pianist was Connie Stenke. Casketbearers were Travis Glasshoff, Charles Ihle, Christopher Van Meveren, Matthew Van Meveren, Michael Stenke and Lemoine Grams. Interment was at Westbrook Cemetery, Westbrook, MN. Eldora Christine Glasshoff was born July 31, 1920 to Jens and Eleonora (Rasmussen) Sundahl in Amo Storden, MN. She was baptized and Lutheran faith at Amo Lutheran Church rural Eldora received her education attending trict #64 in Rosehill Township. On June 10, 1944, she and Harry Glasshoff in Amo Lutheran Church. Following their made their home in Westbrook, where they raised children. For several years, EIdora was head Westbrook Public Schools. She then worked at Manufacturing Company in Windom, retiring in 1 Eldora loved to cook and to entertain her friends. Eldora's family was her priority in life. Her| children brought her much enjoyment throuc merit years. Other interests included card clubs, and word puzzles. She was a member of Trinity Church in Westbrook. Following her husband's death in 1989, Eldora to live in her home in Westbrook until March of she moved to the Westbrook Good Samaritan resided there until the time of her death on May She was 83 years old. Eldora is survived by her two children, JameS. Orlando Gilmore "Bud" Memorial services for Orlando Gilmore "Bud" were held Saturday, M.ay 8, 2004, at Our Lutheran Church in Dovray, MN with the Smith officiating. Orlando Gilmore "Bud" Hanson was November 11, 191-9 to Hans and Anna (I the family homestead in Murra>; County, MN. Bud attended country school, gradu Westbrook High School in 1937, and atte Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. Bud and Gladys (Sandy) Sand were married 1942. They began farming, on a farm south that same year. Bud was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, baseb! ing, and traveling. He and Sandy made visit relatives in Norway. He was a life-long member of Our Savior's Church in Dovray where he was baptized and He served on the church council and sang for sions with the choir and also as a soloist. In 1993, Bud and Elaine Vik were married in TX. They resided there during the winter, and to Dovray for a few months in the summer. Bud passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2004 Rockport, TX at the age of 84years. He is survived by his wife Elaine, son Roll Hanson of Tracy, daughter Diane Johnson of step-daughter Cheryl (John) Woltemate of sister Ardis (Norris) Highby of 5 dren, 1 step-granddaughter, and 1 great Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Sandy, two sisters, and one brother.
