In Me Roger Krick July 6, 1949 Learning to Sow Good Seeds Just as farmers will sow seeds in order to raise their crops, those who follow God., ways are sowing seeds of our Lord s love. In the Bible, we are told the Parable of the Sower, .w scattered his seeds in the field: some seeds fell along the path and the birds ate them; some !', on rocky ground where there was little soil; and, some fell among the thorn bushes, which gr up and choked the plants. BUt still, some seeds fell upon good soil, and these plants sprouted a _ bore much grain. Our Lord explains this Parable by saying that some people hear the mesSa, ge_ and disregard it, while other s receive the message, but when troUb and persecution comes they simply give up. Still, there are others w,,, hear the message, but the worries and concerns about this life choke oUL the good news. And then, there are those who hear the message, acCe.P it, and bear much fruit. The way We live our lives should be an examlu for those around us, and we should try to reflect the love and comP. us to sow seeds that bear good fruit. Wlp • q You did not choose me; I chose you and appointed you to go and • bear much fruit, the kind of fruit that endures. v e. f, Good News Bible John 15:16
