The new officer team was introduced by last years officer team. Following the cere- monies the FFA members served root beer floats which were much appre- ciated on a warm spring evening. Although EAB has already been found in a three-square mile area of Minnesota, it's important for communities statewide to prepare for the pest prior to its arrival. Each workshop date includes two sessions. From 9 a.m. to noon, the EAB Train-the-Trainer Session is intended for community members who would like to educate others about EAB. From 1 to 4 p.m., the Community Preparedness Session is designed for com- munity leaders, planners, foresters or others who are responsible for preparing their community for EAB. Lamberton News - Meadowland Farmers Coop is adding grain handling facilities at it's Storden facility.
