Members present were Kleven, Knakmuhs, Madson, Maas, Barron and Jorgenson. Also present were Supt. Woelber, Prin. Olson, Shannon Helgeson, Mary Schmidt and Tom Merchant. Kleven called the meet- ing to order. Motion by Barron sec- onded by Knakmuhs to approve the minutes of the May 13, 2013 Board Meeting. Motion carried. Motion by'Madson sec- onded by Knakmuhs to approve the amended agen- da. Motion carried. Motion by Maas second- ed by Madson to approve the claims, account balanc- es, treasurer reports and vendor payments. Motion carried. Shannon Helgeson reported on taking over the BOLT program. The next bottling will take place July 18. There will be some changes as far as how the program will be run. There was discussion regarding inventory as well. Mary Schmidt reported on RTI and AIMS Web pro- grams in the elementary. There was also discussion regarding class goals, fall testing, retesting and spring testing. Motion by Knakmuhs seconded by Madson to approve capital outlay adjustments such as $1000 to $3000 for carpet in the district office and an addi- tional $7000-$10,000 for roof repair. Motion carried. Prin. Richards report included the summer cur- riculum work in high school math and social studies. The 2013-2014 schedule depends on a final decision on music. A Perpich Center award for two years totaling $46,500 was approved. Motion by Maas second- ed by Jorgenson to approve a three year contract with Superintendent Woelber with salary to remain the same upon the negotiations committee final approval. Motion carried. Motion by Maas second- ed by Jorgenson to approve the preliminary budget for the 2013-2014 school year with Expenditures of $5,919,181.00 and Revenues of $5,521,384.00. Motion carried. Motion by Madson sec- onded by Barron to direct Supt. Woelber to obtain quotes for milk and bread products for 2013-2014 school year. Motion car- ried. Motion by Knakmuhs seconded by Maas to declare misc. desks, chairs, deep freezers and surplus property and to direct Supt. Woelber to sell as such. Motion carried. Motion by Jorgenson seconded by Knakmuhs to join MREA at a member- ship cost of $1265.00 for 2013-2014. Motion car- ried. Motion by Madson sec- onded by Barron to change the overload for Sally Oltmanns to $2063.00 instead of $2150.00. Motion carried. Motion by Maas second- ed by Knakmuhs to accept the resignation of Mary Jo Hendrickson from the ele- mentary annual. Motion carried. Motion by Jorgenson seconded by Maas to approve a lane change from BA 30 to BA 45 for Mandy Dibble. Motion carried. Motion by Maas second- ed by Knakmuhs to set the music assignment level at 2.75 fte. This includes Mr. Vondracek will share in pep band duties.
