Routine Items - approved by unanimous roll call or regu- lar vote: to approve additions to the agenda; to approve the min- utes of the May 23, 2006 meet- ing; adjournment. Personnel Items - approved by unanimous roll call or regu- lar vote: to move Craig Myers from Step 10 to Step 12 of the 2006 pay scale effective July l st; to place Rose Carsten on Step 15 of the 2006 pay scale using her current salary; to authorize Craig Myers to hire temporary part-time emergency hire for not more than 90 days; to compensate Brenda Anderson a monthly stipend beginning June 1st until a Veteran's Service Officer is hired; to allow Sheriff to post and advertise simultaneously for the position of a part-time jailer/dispatcher. Additional Action Items - approved by unanimous roll call or regular vote: to authorize Commissioner Sorenson to sign agreement with Area II for 2% levy increase contingent that all other counties agree to the 2% increase as well; to authorize Environmental Officer to send letter and proposed budget to Bill Dunn, MPCA, in regards to the ISTS Pilot Grant Project; to sign lease with DNR for contin- ued use and maintenance of a public recreation area in Talcot Lake Wildlife Management Area; to approve conditional use permit for the expansion of an existing feedlot based on conditions mentioned and on a recommendation of the Planning Commission; to authorize Extension Office to purchase laptop computer for price not to exceed $850 and to authorize use of the county credit card for this purchase; to THANK YOU We would like to thank everyone who donated to our shower lists at Oleson's Mercantile, Lichty Drug and Betty's Gift Shop.
