Credit Risk will Topic Agricultural LencJers Day Art Barnaby, Professor of Agricultural Economics at Kansas State University will be the keynote speaker August 13, 2013 for the 30th Annual Agricultural Lenders Day conference to be held at the University of Minnesota Southwest Research and Outreach Center at Lamberton. Dr. Barnaby is a nationally recognized speaker on crop insurance and farm risk management. He is the recipient of numer- ous awards and is a widely published author. He will address "Impacts of Crop Insurance on Agricultural Credit Risks and Crop Producer Decisions", in the current climate of economic and price volatility. Current Crop Production Research, Farm Financial Trends from the Southwest Minnesota Farm Business Management Association (SWMBFMA) as well as UMN Agriculture and Business Management Updates on Farm Tax issues, Grain Marketing and Livestock Economics will also be presented by UMN SW Outreach and Research Center Staff and Extension Educators. The conference is spon- sored by the Southwest Minnesota Farm Business Management Association, The University of Minnesota Southwest Research and Outreach Center and University of Minnesota Extension.
