If you keep my command- ments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that your joy may be full (John 15:9-11). These encouraging verses from the Holy Bible should be beneficial in helping us build a deeper relationship with * God, and allow us to stay in His love. At times, the daily happen- ings of our busy world may cause us to forget about God's love, and this may cause us to separate ourselves from Him. Having a good prayer life and asking God for His help in everything we do will strengthen our relationship with Him. We should try to recog- nize all of the daily blessings that come our way, and also accept any disappointments without grumbling or complaining. Problems, or even disasters, should be a means to help us grow in God's love, we abide in Him and our joy may be full. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatev- er you will, and it shall be done for you. R.S.V. John 15:7
