SENTINEL TRIBUNE N Wednesday, August 21, 2013 Page 2 OBITUARIES Dorothy Enemark Dorothy Janette Albertson Cazett Enemark of Walnut Grove, born November 22, 1912, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Private family services will be held at Lamberton Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfu- neralservice.com. Survivors include her daughter Charleen O'Donnelt of Walnut Grove and son Harry (Marlene) Cazett of Diamond Bar, CA; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grand- children; 3 great-great-great grandchildren; and sister Madeline Weber of Winthrop. Cedric Peter Christensen Mass of Christian Burial for Cedric Christensen was held Saturday, August 17, 2013, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Milroy. Interment was at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Milroy. Military honors provided by U.S. American Legion Post 274 of Milroy, MN. Cedric, 68, Milroy died on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center in Marshall. Cedric Peter Christensen was born on May 29, 1945, in Marshall, to Clifford "Farmer" and Julia (Hoflock) Christensen. Cedric grew up in Milroy and graduated from Milroy High School. On November 21, 1964, he was united in marriage to Patty Will at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Walnut Grove. The couple made their home and raised their family on a farm north of Milroy. Cedric served in the U.S. National Guard, the Milroy Creamery Board, Milroy Elevator Board, and the American Legion Post 274. He enjoyed being with grandchildren, deer hunting in northern Minnesota with his family. He also enjoyed traveling and farming. Survivors include his wife, Patty, of Milroy; sons Jeff(Rhonda), Sioux Falls, Tim (Kris), Milroy; grandchildren: Beth, Jacob, Colben and Kyle; sister Alice (Steve) Waiters, Sleepy Eye; broth- ers Bob Christensen, Wayland, MI, Dan (Darla) Christensen, Milroy; several nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Tudy Will. Preceding him in death were his parents and father-in-law. Golf Corner By Digger Phelps As the days continue to get a little shorter, the for- mal golfing season is slow- ly winding down. Last Tuesday the ladies held their club toumament with Jennifer Anderson garnishing the title of Club Champion. She was followed in 2nd place in the championship by peren- nial front-runner, Gall Smith, while Denise Eichner took 3rd place. Other top finish- ers were: 1st Flight - Linda Carter - lst; Ruth Ann Erickson - 2nd; Nancy Boeck - 3rd. 2nd Flight - Karl Ourada - l st; Dawn Byers - 2nd; Sharon Timgren - 3rd Senior Flight - Dorothy Jenson - lst; Jan Kuehl - 2nd Men's leagues continue for another four weeks. Front runners are as follows: Early League 1 - Haar/ Olson 71 1/2; Kjorness/ Dibble 68 Early League 2 - Teichrow/ Erickson 68 1/2; Homing/ Bakken 67 Intermediate League - Tjentland/Busswitz74; Barker/Polk 68 I/2 The Men's Club Toumament will be held dur- ing next weekend with 18 holes being played each day. This tournament is open to all members at no cost, and includes the Saturday night meal for the member. Spouses are welcome at the Saturday night meal at a nom- inal cost. Please sign up by Wednesday in order to insure that planning can be accurate with regard to numbers. Other upcoming events are the "3-person scramble" on Saturday, September 7, and the "4-person last chance" on Sunday, September 15. Both of these are open to the pub- lic. Just call the clubhouse to register your three or four person team. Fall can provide some excellent chances to visit the course for a quiet round or two.
