Moynards Grocery. J &B Grocery OBITUARIES Dorothy Bloch-Taylor Funeral services were held August 18 in Line Lakes. Dorothy M. (nee Gervais) of Westbrook passed away August 15, 2004 in Forest Lake at the age of 83. Dorothy was a very caring person. She worked many years caring for people in the Rush City and Westbrook nursing homes. Dorothy is survived by children Robert (Carol) Taylor; Sandra (Sukey) (Cy) Fasnacht, Ernie (Sue Bruhn) Taylor; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; Iongtime companion Howard Bloch. She will be missed by her family and special friends; Ken, Brad, Carl, Cheryl and Ginger Bloch, Irene Spensly and their family. Lawrence J. Fogel Funeral services were held for Lawrence J. Fogel August 20, 2004 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Westbrook, MN. Interment was in the Westbrook Cemetery. Lawrence, age 92 of Westbrook died Monday, August 16, 2004 at the Westbrook Health Center. Lawrence J. Fogel was born February 14, 1912 in Hawley, MN to Amil & Laura (Bauer) Fogel. He was baptized and confirmed at the Lutheran Church in Hawley. He attended country school near Hawley. Lawrence farmed with his {ather until 1939 when he moved to the Westbrook area. There he worked for area farmers. On April 10, 1941, Lawrence was united in marriage to Bonita Baster at the Lutheran Church in Fulda. Lawrence began farming on his own in 1942, and continued living in the Westbrook area with Bonnie. Lawrence retired from farming in 1975 and moved to town in 1980. Then he was a caretaker for Westbrook Apartments for ten years, and drove for RSVP for a number of years. Lawrence was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, and later Trinity Lutheran Church. He was very active helping his family and friends, and serv- ice to the community. Lawrence was a member of the Farm Bureau and was a 4H leader. He also served on the boards for Heritage House and the Good Samaritan Center. He enjoyed fishing, small game hunting in the area, and deer hunting "up north". He also enjoyed dancing and play- ing cards and checkers. Lawrence loved spending timewith his family and friends. Survivors include his wife Bonnie; daughter Bonnie Jacob and husband Don of Tracy; grandchildren along with their families: Teresa (Jeff) Goettig and Aaron and Derrick of Curry, Daniel (Kelly Ann) Jacob and Nathan, Brandi and Joshua of Garvin, and Darren (Kelly J.) Jacob and Timothy and Stephanie of Tracy; brother Milton Fogel of Moorhead, MN; sisters: Mavis Fugure of Fargo, ND, and Opal Edinger of Fargo, ND; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, son Richard, four brothers and three sisters. Interment was held in City Cemetery. Charlotte Marguerite Drackley was born October 10, to Paul and Hazel (Cobb) Shannon in Red Wing, was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith. Her was a Methodist minister so Charlotte lived In.several munities including Heron Lake, MN, where she Heron Lake Public Schools graduating from Heron High School in 1938. After high school she Teacher's Training at Winona State University until 1 On December 27, 1941 Charlotte married Art Jeffers, MN. They made their home in Ceylon, MN short time, later moving to Balaton, MN and Mountain MN before moving to Tracy, MN in 1945. Charlotte school for the Tracy Public Schools and Walnut Grove School before her retirement In 1978, Charlotte was a member of the Tracy United Church where she was active in the church circle, committees and choir. She was also a member of Mi Education Association, Wabanaki Club, hospital and her neighborhood women's club. Her family home were what mattered to her most and she also gardening and music. In 1995 Charlotte became a resident of the Health Care Center after she developed Alzheim ease. Burial was at Highwater Cemetery with military rites by the Andrew Peterson Legion Post #41 in Lamberton. Alvin Calmer Pederson, Lamberton, MN died on August 18, 2004 at Valley View in Lamberton, MN. Alvin Calmer Pederson was May, 15, 1934 near Revere Redwood Co., the son of Anna (Hoffrogge) Pederson. He attended Di Country School in Cottonwood County. schooling, he worked construction and helped on th Alvin was married in December of 1956 in Springfield. entered the U.S. Army Air Borne in 1956 and was discharged in January of 1959. Alvin Minneapolis until 1961 when he returned to the area where he had farmed until 2003. He was a member of Highwater Lutheran Church, the Peterson American Legion Post # 41 in Lamberton member of the RedRock Sportsman's Club. Alvin hunting, fishing, and farming.
