In her words, the simple.things in life are what made her hap- piest. Thank you to the doctors and the staff of the nursing home for their care. A special thank you to the members of the staff who were working on September 5 when Bernice passed away. We would like to thank the Westbrook Funeral Home for their compassion and service at such a difficult time. The special Wednesday evening church service was such a wonderful time of worship for Bernice. You can't imagine how much that meant to her. Thank you to those who made that hap- en. Pastor Vicki's help and words of comfort were a blessing, and ernice's service was handled the way she would have wanted: A thank you goes to Deloris Winter, the organist, and to Mud Rupp for singing the songs Bernice had chosen. The eulogy written by Cody White touched our hearts deeply as did the words and memories that Diana shared. We want to thank the pall bearers and the honorary pall bear- ers, whom she regarded as her extended family. Thankyou to Dean for taping the service. We appreciated the kindness of the women of the church for serving lunch. Thank you to Deb and Linda for having lunch for the the family at visitation. All of the beautiful flowers, monetary gifts and sympathy cards were so appreciated. Bernice wouldn't have believed how Iovinigly she was remembered by so many. No one who ever heard her sing "Mountain Dew" will ever forget her. In lieu of thank you cards the family is making a monetary donation to a cause that was very important to Bernice, the upkeep of the Rosehilt Mennonite Cemetery. Just as her mother wrote, we do know that her name is writ- ten in Gold in the autograph book of God. We have lost someone very special. Thank you for sharing our grief.
