DANUBE -- Last Friday night the Chargers traveled to Danube to take on the 0-5 Renville County West Jaguars. The weather was very iffy to say the least. The conditions were hardly conducive to any kind of a serious passing game so the Chargers had to rely on the run for most of their yards. The Chargers kicked off to the Jags to start the game. Well the Gophers made a fairly good showing against Michigan, but eventually these talent loaded teams come around, handing the Gophs their second loss in the Big Ten, or whatever it is called today. Good news for the Vikes? They signed a pretty good quarterback that no one else seemed to want after he was released from Tampa Bay. The one year deal was for 3 million no less -- Really! Well we will see, but it is getting harder to have any faith in the Vikings anymore. But I will bet they will have one of the best stadiums to play in, if it were anything other than the NFL it probably would end up empty.
