PUBLI( : bFOTICES City of Westbrook Regular Council Meeting September 6, 2011 The Westbrook City Council met on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the city council room. Members present: Mayor - Rocky Kolar; council members - John Madson, David Moriarty, Jan Johnson and Digger Phelps Others present: Dan Joel, Alan Wahl, and Dennis Jutting. Mayor Rocky Kolar pre- sided the meeting. Motion by Madson and seconded by Johnson to approve the minutes from the August 1, 2011 council meeting. Police Chief, Alan Wahl presented council with police report. A1 reported that he is having problems with Travis Nelson's dogs getting out. Street Superintendent, Dan Joel stated that Carl will be out for a few weeks after his back surgery on Wednesday. Utility Superintendent, Dennis Jutting purchased a 500 gallon vac for the Utilities and the Street Department. The city will pay $10,000.00 towards the purchase. Motion by Madson and seconded by Johnson to approve the 2012 Budget at 2.4% as printed. All voted in favor. Motion carried. Motion by Phelps and favor. Everyone seems to have a "Cactus memory" and oh, how he would have enjoyed hearing every one of them.
