SENTINEL TRIBUNE Wednesday, November 1, 2017 Page 3 Charg rs volleyball season ends The Chargers ended their 2017 season with a loss to the Falcons in the first round of volleyball playoffs on Monday night in Lamberton. Red Rock Central won the match in three sets 13-25, 22;25, and 10o25. WWG started each set with energy, but they did not maintain their momentum in the first and third sets. The defense was lead by Emma Wahl with l0 digs and Halle Steen with 6 digs, 2 solo blocks, and 1 block assist. Madison Dennistoun also had one block assist. Alli Vande Kieft and Brittany Erickson led the Charger offense with 5 kills each and were assisted by Halle Steen, who had 13 set assists for the night. Serves were led by Alli Vande Kiefi, 8 for 9 with 3 aces, Gracie Wahl, 8 for 9 with 2 aces, and Emma Wahl, 8 for8. The Chargers record at the end of the 2017 season is 9-20 overall and 3-7 in the conference.
