The performance is the stage sequel to "A Distant Country Called Youth" and spans the peak of Williams' career. "Ray received a grant two years ago to work the play up and rehearse and perform it," said SMSU Theatre Professor Sheila Tabaka. "He was on sabbatical last year and performed the play all over the Midwest. We've known Ray for years in our department, and we're happy to have him come to SMSU." SMSU students will work with Schultz hands-on. "He's coming by himself, and our students have the opportunity to run lights for him, we have a student house manager and a ward- robe mistress. We're excited that they will get a chance to work with him in various capacities," said Tabaka. The event is free and open to the public.
